CUBICLE PUPPETS
CUBICLE PUPPETS is the debut album by PJ Glauberzon. An album of kaleidoscopic proportions, it was carefully crafted over the span of a year in a closet-sized apartment in Brooklyn Heights. Similar in feeling to the mellow pop of Paul McCartney's RAM and the comical wit of Warren Zevon's EXCITABLE BOY, CUBICLE PUPPETS is a homegrown patch of songs that could be thought of as a concept album. The songs unfold like miniature movies, the lyrics: scripts filled with scenes and characters that move between dream and reality. Musically diverse and fluid in execution, Glauberzon easily shifts from dreamy pop to wistful balladry.
